Nothing is all set to launch a brand new audio product in the market. The OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei’s UK-based tech venture has officially confirmed to introduce its next iteration of Nothing Earbuds. This year the firm is going to present two devices, Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear A. Alongside confirming its upcoming product the official launch date has also been revealed.

Nothing has made it official that on April 18 it will introduce its brand new third generation of truly wireless stereo (TWS) Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear A. India launch is also expected to take place the same day.

“2024 is the year we’re unveiling the ultimate iteration of Nothing Audio with two new products that reflect the culmination of three years of design and innovation. What we envisioned from the start – premium for everyone that isn’t about market price, but user preference,” the company said in its announcement.

The company has modified its naming strategy for its devices, so this year’s earbuds won’t be known as Nothing Ear 3.

As mentioned earlier the firm will launch two audio products Nothing will introduce a second audio product that has an ‘A’ suffix and could be a toned-down variant at a lower pricing. It further said, “So with this significant milestone, we’ve reset our naming strategy, stripping back the numbers to centre the focus around the product and the unique experience it delivers for each user. True to Nothing.”

Before the announcement, Nothing shared a teaser on its social media account, X which triggered talks on the release of the Nothing phone 3 or more accurately, Nothing Ear. A leaping frog is seen in the short video which is going to be the face of its mascot for Nothing TWS. Note that Nothing has used a Ladybug for Ear (1) and an Atlas Beetle for the Ear (2) as their mascots.

Nothing Ear (2) was launched in India at a price tag of Rs 9,999. The truly wireless stereo earphones come in two colours- White and Black.

Nothing’s Ear 2 boasts an 11.6mm custom driver along with up to 40dB of active noise cancellation. There are three AI-backed microphones and touch controls on each bud to end a call, pause or play music, and a lot more. The Ear 2 earbuds have an IP54 dust and water resistance.

Users can choose to be aware of their surroundings by allowing ambient noise to enter the Transparency Mode. Users may customise their audio experience with the Personal Sound Profile feature, which comes with Clear Voice Technology.
