OnePlus 13 Series confirmed to offer magnetic wireless charging cases: Details

The OnePlus 13 Series is set to launch in India next week.

The OnePlus 13 Series is set to launch in India and select global markets next week. The lineup will include two phones: the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R. Ahead of the official release OnePlus has revealed the official magnetic cases, which means they will support magnetic charging. Here is everything about it.

OnePlus 13 and the OnePlus 13R are scheduled to launch in India and globally on January 7. Just a few days before the official release the company has revealed the official protective case options for the upcoming handsets. These cases will come with magnetic wireless charging support and will be available in the Sandstone Magnetic case.

However, the Wood Grain Magnetic Half-pack and Aramid Fiber Magnetic cases will be made available for the flagship OnePlus 13.

The OnePlus 13 series will be available through Amazon and the official OnePlus India website. It is expected to cost between Rs 67,000 and Rs 70,000, with two variants: 12GB RAM with 256GB Storage and 16GB RAM with 512GB Storage. The OnePlus 13R, a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 5, will be available in India for Rs 39,000 for 12GB RAM with 256GB storage.

The OnePlus 13R, a rebranded variant of the OnePlus Ace 5, will feature a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, triple-camera system, 6,400mAh battery, and IP65 water and dust protection. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Gen 3 CPU and comes with a 6,000mAh battery, a Gorilla Glass 7i screen, and an aluminium frame. The phone will be available in Nebula Noir and Astral Trail colourways.

The OnePlus 13, on the other hand, has a 6.82-inch 2K AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a Hasselblad-co-engineered triple-camera configuration, a 6,000mAh battery, and better robustness with Gorilla Glass Victus 2, all of which provide superior performance and visuals. The device was released in China in October and will come in three colours: Midnight Ocean, Black Eclipse, and Arctic Dawn.
