OnePlus has officially announced the launch of an affordable compact flagship phone OnePlus 13s, in the Indian market today. As we said, it is a compact flagship, so it includes all the top-of-the-line hardware. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and runs on the OxygenOS 15 interface based on Android 15. The device features a 50-megapixel primary rear camera and packs a 5,850mAh battery.

OnePlus 13s flaunts a 6.32-inch 1.5K LTPO ProXDR display with 1,216×2,640 pixels of resolution. The panel comes with Aqua Touch 2.0 technology and supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it has a Glove Mode allowing the display to be accessible with gloved hands. Plus, it has up to 1,600 nits peak brightness level, and a 2,160Hz PWM dimming rate. Also, there is an in-display optical fingerprint sensor for authentication.
Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device runs on OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box.
In terms of photos and videos, there is a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700 primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS) support). Additionally, there is a 50-megapixel S5KJN5 telephoto lens (an f/2.0 aperture, 2x optical zoom and electronic image stabilisation (EIS) support). Selfies are handled by a 32-megapixel front camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture and EIS support.
The OnePlus 13s is backed by a 5,850mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging support. Additionally, it features Bypass Charging, which directly powers the phone instead of the battery, reducing heating and allowing extended gaming sessions without worrying about battery overheating.
The smartphone also has a customisable Plus Key for quick access to functions like as accessing the camera, translating text, and turning on the torch. A single key push activates the AI Plus Mind space.

The OnePlus 13s has a gigantic 4,400mm² 3D Cryo-Velocity Vapour Chamber, surpassing rivals’ Ultra devices and other small phones. Its unique 3D architecture facilitates quick SoC heat dissipation. The phone also has an industry-first cooling layer on the rear cover, which includes a high-performance graphite layer for better heat dissipation and lower surface temperatures.
The OnePlus 13s has an 11-antenna omnidirectional system, three high-performance antennas, and a G1 WiFi improvement chip. Its Smart Link System optimises performance in a variety of circumstances, including gaming and tough areas such as subways, lifts, and bases, resulting in improved Wi-Fi reliability.
