OnePlus has confirmed the India launch date for the OnePlus 15R, which will be released with the OnePlus Pad Go 2. The 15R will be available in black and green via Amazon and the OnePlus online shop. It is speculated to include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 CPU, Android 16-based OxygenOS 16, and a dual back camera. The OnePlus Pad Go 2 will be the follow-up to the OnePlus Pad Go, which was introduced in October 2023.
OnePlus has officially stated that it will introduce two new devices in India on December 17: the OnePlus 15R and the OnePlus Pad Go 2. In addition to announcing the launch date, the company has confirmed that the OnePlus 15R will be available in two colours—Charcoal Black and Minty Green—and the OnePlus Pad 2 in Shadow Black and Lavender Drift. In India, the gadget will be released with OxygenOS, guaranteeing a personalised user experience.
While showcasing the design of the next handset, the company also announced that the 15R features important dust and water resistance, with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K classifications.
Teaser images suggest a dual camera setup on the back that is vertically aligned and housed within a square camera module, similar to the design characteristics of the high-end OnePlus 15 model, enhancing its photographic capabilities. On the right side, users will find the power button alongside the volume controls, while the left side includes an unspecified button, possibly for additional functionality.

According to recent reports, the OnePlus 15R, which was previously assumed to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 6, may be derived from the upcoming OnePlus Ace 6T. This shift in strategy was driven by fresh reports following the product’s anticipated launch schedule, which corresponds to the flagship model’s recent release in China.

The OnePlus Ace 6T is rumoured to include a back camera module design similar to the OnePlus 15 flagship, as well as a dual-rear camera arrangement reminiscent of the OnePlus Ace 6, which comprises a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. The upcoming OnePlus Ace 6T is expected to have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 CPU, which has yet to be officially unveiled. The OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo stylus will be compatible with the new tablet, which will have a single rear camera arrangement. Furthermore, the device will support 5G connection, expanding its potential for those looking for faster internet access and better performance.
