OnePlus has teased the introduction of the OnePlus 15R in India, which might be based on the China-exclusive OnePlus Ace 6 or Ace 6T. The smartphone appears in black and green and has a back camera arrangement identical to the OnePlus 15, but with fewer sensors. The design has a dual back camera system encased in a square layout. According to reports, it will have an 8,000mAh battery and 100W charging capabilities.
OnePlus 15R launch date in India
Following the release of the OnePlus 15 last week, OnePlus is preparing to introduce a new smartphone in India. The company has started advertising campaigns for its forthcoming smartphone, the OnePlus 15R, by creating a dedicated microsite on the OnePlus India website. Although the exact launch date for the OnePlus 15R has not been announced, the device is listed as “Coming Soon” on the website.
A teaser image uploaded on the website shows the OnePlus 15R in two different colours: black and green. Furthermore, the picture shows that the smartphone will include a dual camera setup on the back that is vertically aligned and housed within a square camera module, similar to the design characteristics of the high-end OnePlus 15 model. The power and volume buttons are located on the right side of the device’s frame, while the left side may have a Plus Key with customisation possibilities.
According to recent reports, the OnePlus 15R, which was previously assumed to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 6, may be derived from the upcoming OnePlus Ace 6T. This shift in strategy was driven by fresh reports following the product’s anticipated launch schedule, which corresponds to the flagship model’s recent release in China.

In a recent Weibo post, Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus disclosed plans to introduce the OnePlus Ace 6T in China this month, where it is already available for reservations through the Oppo China online store.
While further information about the smartphone remains unknown, tipster Abhishek Yadav has speculated that it would be released globally as the OnePlus 15R, notably in India. The OnePlus Ace 6T is rumoured to include a back camera module design similar to the OnePlus 15 flagship, as well as a dual-rear camera arrangement reminiscent of the OnePlus Ace 6, which comprises a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens.

The upcoming OnePlus Ace 6T is expected to have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 CPU, which has yet to be officially unveiled. It might possibly include a display with a refresh rate of 165 Hz, comparable to the OnePlus 15 and Ace 6.
However, because the company has not confirmed these features, they should be considered speculation.
