OnePlus has officially revealed the India launch date for the Nord 5 Series. The upcoming mid-range series is set to arrive in the country next week. The company has confirmed to bring two devices, the OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE 5. In addition to revealing the launch date, the firm has also shared the availability details of the upcoming lineup. In addition to the smartphone, the company will also launch its new audio product, OnePlus Buds 4.
OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 India launch is scheduled to take place on July 8. The OnePlus Nord 5 is set to go on sale on July 9 at 12 PM IST (Indian Standard Time). On the other hand, Nord CE 5 is going to be available for purchase on July 12 at midnight IST. Both devices will be sold via oneplus.in, Amazon, and offline retail stores in the country. Along with handsets, the company has also confirmed to bring next-gen OnePlus Buds 4 TWS.
The OnePlus Nord CE5 will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex chipset, which has an octa-core CPU architecture with four high-performance Cortex-A715 cores and four power-efficient cores. It also features a 6-core Mali-G615 GPU for graphics, which improves speed and energy efficiency. The gadget will include next-generation LPDDR5X RAM, ensuring consistent power across several applications. With an AnTuTu score of almost 1.47 million, it is regarded as the best performance in its category.

The smartphone’s battery is said to be 7,100 mAh. It has a multi-day battery life on a single charge, letting users be connected, engaged, and productive without continuously needing a charger. The gadget supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, which enables it to charge from 1% to 100% in 59 minutes. A ten-minute charge may deliver more than six hours of YouTube entertainment. The phone will feature Battery Health Magic, a system-level charging management technology, to keep the battery stable and extend its life. It also has Bypass Charging, a power optimisation technique that takes power from the charger rather than the battery, lowering heat generation, minimising battery wear, and increasing battery lifespan.
In regards to photography, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 will have a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation for clear, blur-free images. It will incorporate the same advanced RAW HDR technology and Real Tone exposure technology as the OnePlus 13 series. Live Photo now supports Ultra HDR for cover frames, which provides more dynamic range and detail. The camera can capture up to 4K 60fps HDR video with accurate colour reproduction.

Aside from that, the OnePlus Buds 4 will have a playing time of up to 11 hours on the earphones and 45 hours overall with the charging case, allowing for hours of listening in minutes. There will also be easy audio control with slide gestures on the earbud stems, Steady Connect technology for dependable outdoor connectivity, and AI Translation for real-time conversation conversion. Buds 4 will also have Google Fast Pair and Dual-Device Connection for a smarter, more convenient listening experience, making them suited for any occasion.
