OnePlus Nord 6 India launch today: Here is how to watch the livestream

Details about the expected pricing and specs are being shared ahead of the formal announcement, which has piqued the excitement of prospective purchasers.

Today, OnePlus will release the Nord 6 smartphone in India, and it will be available globally soon after. Before the debut, key features were publicly revealed. These include a dual back camera arrangement and a display with a hole punch cutout for the selfie camera. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset will power the handset and promises to be quite powerful.

Livestream details, pricing in India expected

The OnePlus Nord 6 will be available in India today at 7 PM. OnePlus will stream the event live on its official YouTube channel and social media sites, so fans and potential buyers can join in on the fun in real time. The device will be available in India via Amazon in three colours: Fresh Mint, Pitch Black, and Quick Silver. The confirmed pricing range for this product is Rs 35,000 to Rs 40,000.

The OnePlus Nord 6 is said to have a flat 1.5K AMOLED Sunburst HDR display. This display will support a refresh rate of up to 165Hz and will have a maximum brightness of 3,600 nits and a minimum brightness of 2 nits. In addition, the gadget will have 3,840Hz PWM dimming for improved visual performance. The touchscreen will have Aqua Touch 2.0, which will enable it to be used with wet or moist fingertips.

The OnePlus Nord 6 will be powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 CPU. It will include an Adreno 835 GPU and support up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM. The device can handle up to 256GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. The gadget will also be dust and water resistant, with ratings of IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K.

The OnePlus Nord 6 will include a dual back camera system with a main 50-megapixel Sony Lytia sensor. It will have 2x zoom, dual-axis optical image stabilisation, and a multi-focus sensor. An 8-megapixel ultrawide camera will accompany the primary camera, delivering a 112-degree field of view.

The OnePlus Nord 6 will consist of a hole-punch display cutout for the front camera. It will include a 32-megapixel multi-focus front camera and the ability to capture videos at 4K/60 fps from the back camera.

One interesting feature will be its 9,000mAh battery, which will support 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging. In addition, it will allow 27W wired reverse charging. The upcoming phone will include a dedicated G2 Wi-Fi chip, similar to that of the OnePlus 15. This new chip is intended to improve signal reception in congested locations and provide up to three times faster data speeds when paired with a Jio SIM card.
