Oppo A16K budget smartphone with MediaTek Helio G35 SoC launched in India

Oppo has officially announced the launch of a new budget smartphone in the Indian market. The company has introduced Oppo A16K. Before arriving in India the smartphone got already launched in the Philippines in November last year. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G35 SoC and houses a 4,230mAh battery. In addition to this, there is a single 13-megapixel sensor and an HD+ display.

Oppo A16K price in India and sale details

Oppo A16K has been introduced in India with a price tag of Rs 10,490 for the single 3GB RAM with a 32GB storage model. There are three different colour options available for the device black, blue, and white. The phone can be purchased through any channel, including the Oppo India web shop. It is available through all major banks with no-cost EMI options for up to three months.

To remember, the Oppo A16K was released in the Philippines with a price tag of PHP 6,999 (about Rs 10,300) for the single 3GB RAM and 32GB storage version. The gadget is available in two colours: black and blue.

The Oppo A16K has a 6.52-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels. It has a 60Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 269 pixels per inch. ColorOS 11.1 Lite on top of Android 11 is the default operating system on the phone. There’s an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC under the hood, as well as 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage that can be upgraded up to 256GB with a microSD card.

The Oppo A16K has a single 13-megapixel camera sensor on the back of the phone for photography. A 5-megapixel front-facing camera is available for selfies. The rear camera on the phone provides Stylish Filters, Backlit HDR, Dazzle Color Mode, and Night Filters. Whereas the HDR, Natural skin retouching, and AI Palette are among the functions supported by the front-facing sensor.

There includes 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth version 5, a USB Type C connector, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB and a 3.5mm audio jack for communication. The gadget has a 4,230mAh battery and can be charged at 5 volts.
