Oppo A3x 4G budget smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 SoC launched in India

The handset includes a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

The Chinese smartphone company Oppo has launched a new budget smartphone in India- Oppo A3x 4G. The new device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 SoC. The phone runs on ColorOS 14 and packs a 5,100mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. The budget phone comes with a 6.67-inch LCD screen and an 8-megapixel rear camera.

The Oppo A3x 4G has been launched in India in two variants. The 4GB RAM with 64GB of storage will cost Rs 8,999 and the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage will be available at Rs 9,999. The budget smartphone will be available in two colour options Nebula Red and Ocean Blue. The handset can be purchased via the company’s official website, Amazon as well as offline store starting October 29.

Oppo A3x 4G Specifications

The Oppo A3x 4G has a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD screen with 720×1,604 pixels of resolution. The panel supports a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 100nits peak brightness. The phone operates on Android 14-based ColorOS 14 out of the box. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 processor with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. The internal storage can be expanded further using a microSD card.

The Oppo A3x 4G features a dual rear camera setup that includes an 8-megapixel rear camera with a 78-degree field-of-view and an f/2.0 aperture. For taking selfies and video calling the smartphone has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with a 78-degrees field of view and an f/2.2 aperture.

The budget smartphone packs a 5,100mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. It has a USB Type-C connector, a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, and a 4G LTE connection. An e-compass, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and ambient light sensor are among the features that Oppo has included in the phone. A fingerprint scanner is available for biometric verification.
