Oppo A74 5G with 5,000mAH battery launched in India

The device is scheduled to go on sale on April 26 in the country via Amazon

The Chinese smartphone company, Oppo, today officially announced the launch of its first 5G smartphone below Rs 20,000. The company has launched Oppo A74 5G in India that features a hole-punch design display with a 90Hz Hyper-color Screen technology. The 5G smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC. In addition to this, it packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. 

Oppo A74 5G price and availability details

The Oppo A74 5G has been launched in India in a single 6GB RAM with a 128GB storage option. The phone will be available in two colour options of Fluid Black and Fantastic Purple. The device can be purchased through Amazon and other retail stores starting April 26.

The launch offers include a 10 percent instant discount on select bank credit card, credit card EMI, and debit card transactions. Moreover on the purchase of Oppo A74 5G the buyers can get Oppo Enco W11 earphones at a discounted price of Rs 1,299, Oppo Band at Rs 2,499, and the Oppo W31 at Rs 2,499. These offers are accessible for online buyers whereas on offline purchase there will be 5 percent cashback on HDFC Bank, Standard Chartered, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Federal Bank. On the other hand, there will be 11 percent cashback if payment is made through Paytm.

Oppo A74 5G specifications

The Oppo A74 5G features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ LCD display offering 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate support. The device runs on ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

In terms of cameras, the Oppo A74 5G is outfitted with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor in addition to two 2-megapixel lenses for depth and macro photography. Upfront, it features an 8-megapixel selfie sensor.

On the connectivity front, there is 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The sensors on the phone include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope and a proximity sensor. There is a 5,000mAh battery which is supported by an 18W fast charger.
