Oppo arrives in India with a new Oppo F31 5G Series with a 7,000mAh battery

The smartphones pack a 50-megapixel primary camera.

Oppo today introduced its F31 series in India. The lineup includes three devices- Oppo F31 5G, the Oppo F31 Pro 5G, and the Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G. All the smartphones pack a 7,000mAh battery. Additionally, they have advanced thermal management, 360° Armour Body with IP69/IP68/IP66 ratings, and AI-powered tools.

Price in India, Availability

The standard variant comes in two variants with prices starting at Rs 22,999 (8+128GB) and Rs 24,999 (8+256GB). The F31 Pro 5G will be available at Rs 26,999 (8+128GB), INR 28,999 (8+256GB) and Rs 30,999 (12+256GB). Lastly, the F31 Pro+ 5G comes with a price tag of Rs 32,999 (8+256GB) and Rs 34,999 (12+256GB).

The company is offering re-book and first-day buyers discounts or exchange bonuses, lowering prices across all models. They also provide 180 days of protection for free accidental, liquid, and screen damage. Customers can also get up to 10% instant cash back on SBI, HDFC, and Kotak Bank credit cards, no-cost EMI for up to 6 months, and consumer loans for up to 8 months with zero down payment schemes.

The Pro models are scheduled to go on sale on September 19, whereas the regular variant will be available for purchase from September 27 across offline stores and OPPO E-store, Flipkart and Amazon in the country.

Specifications, Features

The Oppo F31 5G features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 2,372×1,080 pixels of resolution. The panel comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz peak sampling rate support. The screen has 3 per cent screen-to-body ratio, 397ppi pixel density, 1.07 billion colour gamut and a peak brightness of 600 nits. The display includes AGC DT-Star D+ protection and IP69 + IP68 + IP66 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Under the hood, there is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. It runs on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box.

For photos and videos, F31 5G boasts a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with auto-focus support and a 2-megapixel portrait lens, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. It supports 1080p video recording at 60fps and 30fps, multi-view video shooting, video zoom, up to 10x digital zoom, and underwater camera video shooting capabilities.

The smartphone is stuffed with a 7,000mAh battery, 80W SuperVOOC Flash Charge support.

On the other hand, the Pro model sports a 6.5-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 2,372×1,080 pixels of resolution with an adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz. The display supports 100 per cent DCI-P3 and sRGB colour gamut. Moreover, it has a pixel density of 397ppi.

Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chip, the Oppo F31 Pro 5G comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS3.1 storage.

The Oppo F31 Pro 5G and Pro+ 5G have a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with auto-focus support and a 2-megapixel portrait lens, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

Lastly, the Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G is highlighted with a 6.8-inch full-HD+ BOE AMOLED with a 2,800×1,280 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz maximum touch sampling rate. The display panel supports 600 nits of typical peak brightness, 1.07 billion colours and 453ppi pixel density. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC with Adreno 7-series GPU
