Oppo extends warranty across its product portfolio amid coronavirus in India

Oppo has joined the warranty extension bandwagon along with Xiaomi, Poco and Vivo

We are seeing many tech companies have been extending the warranty of their products in India due to the coronavirus pandemic. In a new development, Oppo has today has announced to extend the warranty services on its devices in the country. This move came in view of the recent surge in Covid-19 cases. 

According to the company, it has extended warranty across its product portfolio for a period of 30 day that is until June 30. As per directives by Government most of the states in the country are under strict lockdown service centres will remain closed till the lockdown is applicable and this move will support the customers whose device’s warranty is going to or have already expired. The customers can check the status of the operations in real-time via WhatsApp on +91-9871502777 for overall effectiveness. In addition to this, the scheme is applicable across product categories including smartphones and accessories such as chargers, data cable, and earphones.

Moreover, Oppo will also provide after-sales customer service support to all its users. The remote service is accessible through a dedicated AI-powered Chatbot called ‘Ollie’ that is available 24X7 for consumers to resolve 94.5% of their queries.  The brand’s human chat support on WhatsApp is also available to support customers 24X7 in resolving their queries. Additionally, the Oppo product users will also have the choice to connect with Oppo online teams for any further queries or basic troubleshooting and software-related issues via Facebook, Twitter -: @OPPOCareIN.

Besides this Oppo has also extended support to the govt by donating 300 OPPO Band Style to the Cyberabad police workforce recently. Not to mention the brand has also donated 1000 oxygenators and 500 breathing machines worth Rs. 4.3 Crore to the Red Cross Society & Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. 

On the other hand, other brands such as Xiaomi, Poco and Vivo have already extended warranties for their devices that will have their warranties expire in May or June by two months.
