Oppo Find X9 Series, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC, launched in India

The new smartphones feature triple rear cameras.

The Oppo Find X9 series has officially debuted in India, with two variants available: the Oppo Find X9 and the Oppo Find X9 Pro. Both smartphones are powered by MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9500 processor, which provides powerful performance. The Find X9 features a 6.59-inch display, while the Find X9 Pro sports a bigger 6.78-inch screen. A major highlight of this series is the partnership with Hasselblad, which resulted in a sophisticated triple rear camera system designed to improve photographic capabilities.

Price in India, Availability

Oppo has released the Find X9 series in India, with the base model, the Find X9, priced at Rs 74,999. This edition includes 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There is also an enhanced model available for Rs 84,999 that has 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The Oppo Find X9 Pro, on the other hand, is positioned at the top of the lineup, available only in a single configuration with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage for Rs 109,999.

The Find X9 is available in two colours: space black and titanium grey. The premium model comes in two colour options: Silk White and Titanium Charcoal. The firm also offers the Oppo Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit for the Find X9 for Rs 29,999.

The Oppo Find X9 series will be available for purchase starting November 21 through the OPPO e-store, Flipkart, Amazon and mainline retail outlets.

Specifications, Features

The Pro edition comes with a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO display with a resolution of 2772×1272 pixels, while the standard Find X9 has a comparatively smaller 6.59-inch 1.5K display with a resolution of 2760×1256 pixels. Both versions have a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz to provide seamless visual performance. Furthermore, their ProXDR displays are HDR-ready, supporting a variety of high dynamic range formats such as HDR Vivid, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+. These displays also provide a handy full-screen Always-On Display (AOD) feature, which improves convenience and functionality.

In terms of brightness, they have an excellent global peak brightness of 1800 nits and a local peak brightness capacity of up to 3600 nits across 20% of the screen surface. In terms of durability, they meet IP66, IP68, and IP69 standards, demonstrating high resistance to dust and water ingress.

Both smartphones include strong MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipsets, which improve their performance capabilities. Both versions run Android 16 with ColorOS 16, which delivers a user-friendly interface augmented with a slew of AI-powered productivity and imaging capabilities aimed at improving user experience and efficiency.

The handsets have powerful battery specs, with a 7,500mAh battery for the Pro variant and a 7,025mAh battery for the basic version. Both models enable 80W wired fast charging, which provides speedy power replenishment.

The X9 has an amazing camera system consisting of three 50-megapixel sensors designed to meet a variety of photography purposes. The primary sensor, a Sony LYT-828, is intended to record high-quality photographs, whilst the second 50-megapixel sensor, the Sony LYT-600, functions as a periscope telephoto camera, allowing users to take crisp photos from a distance. The handset also contains a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 ultrawide camera, which provides a wider viewpoint for landscape and group photos. The front-facing camera has a 32-megapixel sensor, which allows for excellent and detailed self-portraits.

In contrast, the X9 Pro has an advanced camera system that comprises the same primary camera, an ultrawide camera, and a remarkable 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3x digital zoom capabilities. It also has a 50-megapixel front-facing sensor for selfies, which improves its image skills in both photography and videography.

These devices have a wide range of connectivity options, including 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C connectors, which improve their usage in a variety of contexts.
