Oppo Watch Free smartwatch with AMOLED display with touch support launched in India

The company today also introduced Oppo Reno 7 5G and Reno 7 Pro 5G alongside the fitness tracker.

Oppo today at its online launch event in India presented a slew of its new products in the Indian market. The company has launched the much-awaited Oppo Reno 7 5G and Reno 7 Pro 5G smartphones. Alongside the new phone lineup the firm has also introduced Oppo Watch Free and a new Green colour option of Oppo Enco M32. The new smartwatch features an AMOLED display and offers a 14-day battery life.

Oppo Watch Free price in India and availability

Oppo Watch Free smartwatch has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 5,999. The device is only available in Black. The Oppo Watch Free’s availability date is yet to be announced by the company.

Along with the smartwatch, the company has also introduced the Oppo Enco M32 in the Green colour option. The new shade of the neckband earphones will be available from February 9 to 11 for an introductory price of Rs 1,499.

The Oppo Reno 7 5G costs Rs 28,999 in India for a single 8GB RAM with a 256GB storage variant. Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G, on the other hand, costs Rs 39,999 for a single 12GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration. The phones will come in two colours: Starlight Black and Startrails Blue.

Oppo Watch Free specifications

The Oppo Watch Free is highlighted with a 1.64-inch AMOLED touch display with 280×456 pixels of resolution and a DCI-P3 colour gamut. It has a 2.5D curved glass that protects the display.

Oppo Watch Free features over 100 sports modes for fitness monitoring including badminton, cricket, and skiing, among others. The wristwatch also has a heart rate sensor and is capable of detecting blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) along with options for tracking sleep and snoring. Sedentary reminders are also provided by the watch.

The Oppo Watch Free is water-resistant up to 5ATM (50 metres). In addition, the wristwatch has an ambient light sensor and a 230mAh battery that is claimed to offer 14 days of battery life. The Watch Free has a Bluetooth v5.0 connection and is meant to work with devices running Android 6.0/ iOS 10.0 or above.
