OYO Hotels and Homes is a popular chain of leased and franchised hotels, homes and living spaces, and OYO is the company that poses as the Airbnb’s biggest competitor in India. Today, the company has announced that it has partnered with telecommunications major Bharti Airtel to launch OYO Store on Airtel Thanks app.
With this new partnership, customers will be able to seamlessly book accommodations for themselves using the Airtel Thanks app. In addition to this, customers will also be able to pay via for the hotel, living space or home that they are booking via the Airtel Payments Bank.
OYO Store and Airtel customers will also have the option of making full payments upfront or book the accommodation even by paying Re 1. Of course, they would be reminded to pay the rest of the amount later.

Here’s how you can book and OYO for yourself using the Airtel Thanks app:
- Download the Airtel Thanks app via Google Play Store or Apple’s App Store. It is available for free on both the platforms.
- Open the app on your smartphone and click on the ‘Bank’ icon at the bottom to go to Airtel Payments Bank section.
- Here, you will see the Quick Actions grid. Click on ‘OYO Hotels’ icon to launch the OYO Store.
- Search for an accommodation of your choice.
- Book the accommodation and make the payment via your Airtel Payments Bank account.
