The outage was reported on Downdetector by the real-time reporter. At the moment, the site’s primary gaming platform is not accessible.
According to Downdetector, “User reports indicate problems with PlayStation Network since 9:42 PM EDT.”
This is not the first time that Sony has had an interruption in service. On Thursday, the PlayStation Network suffered a significant outage that annoyed consumers all around the world and interfered with online gameplay.
