Poco M3 Pro 5G with 5,000mAh battery and MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC launched in India

Poco M3 Pro 5G today officially made it to the Indian market. The device surfaced in the Indian market after a delayed launch last month due to the COVID-19 crisis in the country. The 5G smartphone has been a much-awaited phone for the Poco fans in the country. It features a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC for 5G connectivity. In addition to this, there is a 6.5-inch full-HD+ display that comes with a 90Hz refresh rate support. There is a 5,000mAh battery onboard with 18W fast charging support.

Poco M3 Pro has been introduced in India in two different variants: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model. The former one is priced at Rs 13,999 while the latter at Rs 15,999. The device will be offered in three colour options of Cool Blue, Power Black, and Poco Yellow. However, the early birds can avail the smartphone at Rs 13,499 and Rs 15,499 respectively during the first sale. The handset is scheduled to go on sale on June 14 via Flipkart.

Poco M3 Pro 5G tech specifications

The Poco M3 Pro 5G is highlighted with a  6.5-inch full-HD+ Dot Display having 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution. The display comes with a 90Hz refresh rate panel, 400 nits of brightness and protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It comes with a dual 360 degrees light sensor setup that can detect and adjust the brightness to 4096 different levels. There is an 8-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC with a clock speed of up to 2.2GHz paired with Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU under its hood. It will be offered with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM storage and 128GB of UFS2.2 storage.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Poco smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 48MP main camera with an f/1.79 aperture. Further assisted by a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4. The rear camera supports Night Mode, Slow Mo, Multiple Time-Lapse Mode, and Clone Photo. For videography, it supports up to 1080p videos at 30fps and slow-mo videos in 1280×720 @120fps. In terms of taking selfies, the device equipped an 8MP front-facing camera at f/2.0 fps.

This 5G smartphone also includes a 5,000mAh battery and ships an 18W fast charger. On the connectivity front, there is 5G / 4G, 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack and more. The sensors onboard include a Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Electronic compass, IR blaster along with Side fingerprint sensor and AI face unlock for authentication.
