Poco M6 Plus 5G, Poco Buds X India launch today: Here is everything we know so far

The upcoming phone will be available on Flipkart and Amazon in the country.

The Poco M6 Plus 5G is set to launch in India today alongside the Poco Buds X1. The smartphone is expected to be a rebranded Redmi 13 5G, featuring a 13-megapixel selfie camera and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The company has already teased the design and revealed the processor, camera, and display details. The phone will ship with Android 14-based HyperOS and will be available in various colour options.

Poco M6 Plus 5G specs expected

Poco M6 Plus 5G will be announced today in India. As soon as it gets launched the device will be available for purchase via Flipkart and Amazon in the country.

Poco has already shown off the handset’s design and hinted at a few of these capabilities ahead of time. The manufacturer has confirmed the phone’s processor, camera, and display specifications. The Poco M6 Plus 5G has been verified to include a 6.79-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a hole punch design. The screen will have A 6.79-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection will be featured on the Poco M6 Plus 5G. Graphite Black, Ice Silver, and Misty Lavender are the three colour options that will be offered for the phone.

A dual rear camera setup with ring LED will be included on the back of the phone in addition to a hole punch and dual-tone design. A 108-megapixel primary sensor with support for a 3x in-sensor zoom will be part of the camera setup. The phone will also include a 13-megapixel front camera for taking selfies and making video calls.
For additional security, the Poco M6 Plus 5G will have a fingerprint sensor positioned on the side. Its thickness will be 8.32 mm, and its construction is rated IP53 for protection from dust and splashes.

The next smartphone will use HyperOS, an Android 14 operating system. Furthermore, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 CPU will power the M6 Plus 5G. A 5,030mAh battery with 33W of fast charging capability will be provided.

Poco Buds X1 TWS Earphones specs expected

Alongside the Poco M6 Plus 5G, the Poco Buds X1 will also be available in India today. The white Poco Buds X1 earphones have silicone tips and an in-ear design. The earbuds are confirmed to have hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC) with a maximum decibel level of 40dB and 12.4mm dynamic titanium drivers. A quad microphone system with AI-backed environmental noise cancellation (ENC) capabilities is hinted to be one of their features.
