Poco M7 5G to launch in India on this date

The smartphone will be available via Flipkart in the country.

Xiaomi is expanding its product portfolio with the launch of a new smartphone under its sub-brand Poco. Poco M7 5G is set to launch in India next month, succeeding the Poco M6 5G. The official teasers have also revealed the design of the upcoming phone. The device has also been listed on Flipkart revealing the key features of the handset.

Poco is launching a new M-Series phone in India soon. The company has set the stage to introduce the Poco M7 5G in the country on March 3 at noon. The company has also shared the poster on all of its social media platforms revealing its design. The upcoming handset can be seen in a blue colour. The new smartphone highlights a circular camera module at its rear.

The company has also created a microsite on Flipkart to tease its availability on the e-commerce platform.

The company has also revealed the key specs of Poco M7 5G ahead of its official launch event. The device will come equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. It is said to offer 12GB of RAM with 6GB Turbo RAM.

Besides this the upcoming phone is confirmed to be priced under Rs 10,000.

The device will debut as a successor of Poco M6 5G which was launched in December 2023. The phone was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 10,499 for the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage option. The device is being offered in two colours- Galactic Black and Orion Blue.

The Poco M6 5G features a 6.74-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It is TÜV low blue light and flicker-free certified and protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone runs on MIUI 14 with Android 13 and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It has up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W wired charging. It also has a dual rear camera setup with an AI-powered 50-megapixel main sensor and a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie camera.
