Poco is growing its foothold in India by entering the tablet market. The company has officially confirmed to introduce its first-ever Poco Pad 5G tablet. The firm has disclosed the launch date and design. It has been teased to be released in a blue colour, and it may include a keypad and a pen stylus.

In India, the Poco Pad 5G is scheduled to debut on August 23 at noon IST. Flipkart’s availability has also been confirmed by the company. A special microsite has been created on the e-commerce platform to tease the design and key details of the upcoming tablet.

In May, the Wi-Fi-only model was released in a few international regions. Anticipated characteristics for the Indian version are comparable to those of the global edition, which comes with a 10,000mAh battery and a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC.

The Flipkart web page verified that the Poco Pad 5G will feature a 12.1-inch screen with an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz, an aspect ratio of 16:10, and a maximum brightness level of 600 nits. Additionally, the screen will get triple certification from TÜV Rheinland.

A blue colourway featuring a keyboard and stylus was teased for the tablet. The global edition was unveiled in grey and blue hues. Speaker grilles, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack are located on the tablet’s bottom edge.

The Poco Pad tablet has a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD screen and is powered by a 4nm octa-core Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, Qualcomm Adreno GPU, 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. It runs Android 14-based HyperOS and has an 8-megapixel sensor on the back and front, quad speakers that support Dolby Atmos, and a 10,000mAh battery. The tablet weighs 571 grams and dimensions 280 x 181.85 x 7.52 mm. It supports 33W wired fast charging using a USB Type-C connection, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.
