Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro with MediaTek processors launched in India

The smartphones come with AI features.

Today, Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Poco, officially unveiled two new handsets in the Indian market. Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro are the latest additions to the company’s gaming smartphone series and they succeed the Poco X6 and X6 Pro. The devices run on HyperOS 2.0 out of the box. Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro price in India, sale details

The price of Poco X7 begins at Rs 21,999 for the 8Gb RAM with 128GB storage option. Whereas the price of the 256GB model is set at Rs 23,999. The handset will be offered in three colourways: Poco Yellow, Glacier Green and Cosmic Silver. It will go on sale on February 14 via Flipkart.

On the other hand, the Poco X7 Pro price in India starts at Rs 26,999 for the 8Gb RAM with 256GB storage and Rs 28,999 for the 12GB RAM with 256GB internal storage option. The phone will come in Poco Yellow, Nebula Green, and Obsidian Black colour options. The device can be purchased from February 17 onwards via Flipkart.

The launch offer includes:

  • Buyers will get a Rs 2,000 bank discount if they are ICICI bank customers.
  • There will be an extra Rs 1,000 off on the Pro variant if purchased on the very first day of the sale.

Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro specs, features

The Poco X7 has a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1.5K. The screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, HDR10+, and TÜV Rheinland eye care certification. A 6.73-inch flat 1.5K AMOLED screen with a touch sampling rate of 2,560 Hz and a maximum brightness of 3,200 nits is featured on the Pro model. It will also have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. IP66/68/69-rated constructions for the Poco X7 and X7 Pro phones will prevent water and dust intrusion.

The vanilla model is MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra CPU whereas the Pro model comes equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra SoC. HyperOS 2.0, based on Android 15 comes pre-installed. The company is promising 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security patches.

The Pro model’s dual rear camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary camera with OIS+EIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies, it features a 20MP front camera. Whereas the regular model includes a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 20MP selfie camera.

Poco X7 Pro is backed by a 6,550mAh battery with 90W TurboCharge support. On the other hand, the Poco X7 has a 5,500mAh battery and comes with 45W TurboCharge support.

The X7 Pro is highlighted with AI features that include AI Notes, AI Recorder, AI Subtitles, AI Erase Pro, AI Interpreter and more. While the X7 settles for AI Night Mode, AI Magic Eraser Pro and AI Sky Replacement.
