The Poco X8 Pro Max 5G has a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with cutting-edge 3,840Hz PWM dimming technology. This makes for a seamless visual experience with a peak brightness of 3,500 nits and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The Poco X8 Pro 5G has a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen, which is slightly smaller than its sibling’s. The max refresh rate and resolution are the same, however. Both versions have IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water protection. This shows that they are built to last and can withstand harsh conditions.

Both versions also include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, which makes them more secure.

Out of the box, the devices operate on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3, which is based on Android 16.

The Max variant has advanced specs, including a 3nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, 12GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage.
