With the un-ban of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds also known as PUBG Mobile, the Indian version of the game is finally set for a launch after a long wait. Ahead of the launch PUBG Mobile India pre-registrations have opened. Krafton has now registered the banned PUBG in India under a new subsidiary called “PUBG India Private Limited.” which is based in the city Bengaluru.
Until now the company has not officially revealed the pre-registration process on the PUBG Mobile India website. But reportedly the pre-registrations for PUBG Mobile in India have gone live via TapTap app. The app is a free app to download to play various games. In addition to this, the APK version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was also released recently on the company’s official website however several gamers reported difficulty downloading the APK version of PUBG.
As per a report 3 lakh users have already registered with the PUBG Mobile India on the Taptap app. Here is how you can register for PUBG Mobile India:
- First, any Android or iOS user can now do the registration for the PUBG Mobile India game on the Taptap game sharing community. Also, the registrations are only open for the community members.
- Download the TapTap app through an APK link by visiting the TapTap website
- After downloading the app, login or create a new TapTap account to start using it
- Now, search for PUBG Mobile India in the search option and tap on the game
- Then click on the ‘pre-registration’ option and you are done
Also, after the company’s announcement of its comeback a separate bogus website went live showing the APK link and the Google Play Store for users to download the game but the links were inaccessible.
PUBG Corp has already affirmed that it will set up an Indian subsidiary to hire over 100 employees from gaming, business, and game development backgrounds. The company has recently got its Indian subsidiary under the title “PUBG India Private Limited” registered. The organisation will be based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has approved the registration of PUBG India Pvt. Ltd on November 21. According to the registrar of the companies, Kumar Krishnan Iyer is the authorized director of PUBG India Pvt. Ltd.
