Realme 16 Pro Series, Buds Air 8 and Pad 3 are launching in India today

Realme is all set to launch its new product lineup in the Indian market today. Along with the Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 Pro+ 5G smartphones, the company will also release Realme Buds Air 8 and Realme Pad 3. Ahead of the debut, Realme has revealed the major features and specs of its upcoming smartphones, as well as leaks about anticipated costs, RAM and storage options, and availability in India.

The all-new Realme 16 Pro series, featuring Realme 16 Pro+ and Realme 16 Pro, alongside the debut of Realme Buds Air 8 and Realme Pad 3, is scheduled to make its debut in India today. The launch event will begin at 12:00 PM and will be live-streamed via the company’s official YouTube channel.

The Realme 16 Pro is said to offer flagship-level photography capabilities to a broader audience, featuring a 200MP LumaColor camera that utilises the Samsung HP5 sensor along with Super OIS technology. It will include ultra-wide and high-resolution selfie cameras. The design, which takes inspiration from natural textures such as pebbles and wheat, is characterised by a slim, flat-display format with a velvet-matte finish and is rated IP69 for water resistance. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max 5G chipset, which scored over 970,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform. It will use an AirFlow vapour chamber cooling mechanism to regulate temperatures, and it will run Android 16 with Realme UI 7.0.

Furthermore, the AMOLED display is said to feature a 144 Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, a peak brightness of 6,500 nits, and 1.07 billion colours, as well as Realme’s Next AI technologies.

The gadget will be powered by a 7,000mAh Titan Battery and an AI Long-life Battery Chip, which will support Super Power Saving Mode and Bypass Charging.

Realme reveals that both the 16 Pro+ 5G and 16 Pro 5G will include a primary back camera with 200 megapixels. The Pro+ 5G will also have a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. It will enable 4K HDR video recording at multiple zoom levels, including 1x, 2x, 3.5x, 7x, and 10x, as well as dual-focal 4K video at 60 fps for 1x and 3.5x. The front camera can capture 4K video at 60 fps. The Pro series will arrive with Realme UI 7.0, which is based on Android 16.

The Realme 16 Pro 5G is rumoured to start at Rs 31,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model, with the 8GB RAM and 256GB variation priced at Rs 33,999 and the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage option perhaps costing Rs 36,999. Meanwhile, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is expected to start at Rs 39,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB model might cost Rs 41,999. The top configuration with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is anticipated to be offered for Rs 44,999, in line with previous reports indicating a box price of Rs 43,999 for this model.

The smartphones will launch alongside Realme Pad 3 5G and Realme Buds Air 8. The company has disclosed on its dedicated website that its upcoming tablet would include a 12,200 mAh Titan Battery, a Book-View Display with 2.8K resolution and minimal bezels, stylus compatibility, and Next AI for Pad tools.

Furthermore, it is rumoured to include a dual back camera unit with an LED flash, housed in a square-shaped design. The company logo is located in the centre of the rear panel, and it will be available in black and gold colours. More information will be revealed soon.

The Realme Buds Air 8, created in collaboration with Naoto Fukusawa, will be introduced with the phones, including Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), and will be available for purchase. According to the company, the Buds Air 8 has AI-driven audio intelligence, which improves voice clarity, noise control, and adaptable sound for music, calls, and entertainment.
