Realme U1 receives a price cut in India

Realme has announced a price drop on its Realme U1 smartphone in India for both its 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants. The smartphones can now be bought at discounted prices via Amazon India as well as Realme’s online store. In fact, Amazon has also listed an exchange offer on its website and is also offering some no-cost EMI options with the device.

The Realme U1 smartphone was launched in India last November and it is touted by the company for being a selfie-centric handset. Realme U1 comes with a waterdrop-shaped notch, a dual rear camera setup, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a gradient back panel.

While base variant of the Realme U1 smartphone, which comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, is now available at a cost of Rs 10,999, the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option can be bought at Rs 13,499. So, both the variants of the smartphones have received a price cut of Rs 1,000 as they were originally launched at Rs 11,999 and Rs 14,999.

As mention earlier, the device can be bought at discounted rates via Amazon India and Realme’s online store. Amazon is offering some exchange offers and no-cost EMI options and you can also avail a Jio Realme Thunder Offer with with you can get a cashback of Rs 2,500. A Cleartrip cashback offer is also available on the smartphone.

If you buy the device via Realme’s online store, you will get a 10% cashback of up to Rs 1,000 by paying via Mobikwik and benefits from Reliance Jio worth Rs 5,750 and up to 4.2TB data on a minimum recharge of Rs 198 and Rs 299.

To recall, Realme U1 runs Android 8.1 skinned with ColorOS 5.2 and features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ LCD display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 SoC, the device comes with ARM G72 GPU. It has a dual rear camera setup with 13MP and 2MP sensors coupled with LED flash and for selfies and video calls, it sports a 25MP Sony IMX576 sensor. The smartphone houses a 3,500mAh battery.
