Xiaomi is all set to launch a new smartphone under its sub-brand Redmi. The firm today officially announced the India launch date of Redmi 13C. Note that Redmi 13C was globally launched last month and will soon hit the stores in India. The firm has also created a dedicated event page that highlights the key specs of the upcoming phone.
According to Xiaomi, Redmi 13C will launch in India on December 6. Timing and other launch-related details remain undisclosed. But a dedicated event page has been created where the upcoming smartphone can be seen in two colourways Stardust Black and Star Shine Green.
According to the landing page, the device will feature a 50-megapixel AI camera. The rest of the details are likely to be revealed in a few days. The global variant was launched earlier in November and is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. According to a report the Redmi 13C Indian variant is expected to come equipped with the same processor. In addition to this other features of the smartphone will be comparable to the global variant.
If the report is to be believed the Redmi 13C coming to India will run on MIUI 14 with Android 13. It will also feature a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with 1,080 x 2,460 pixels of resolution. Moreover, the triple rear camera setup on the phone will include a 50-megapixel primary lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera and an auxiliary lens. For selfies, it may also include an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Indian model of Redmi 13C is said to sport a 5,000mAh battery with 18W wired fast charging support.
Coming to the pricing the global variant is made available in three variants:
- 4GB RAM + 128GB storage- $139.99 (approx. Rs 11,700)
- 6GB RAM + 128GB storage- $159.99 (approx. Rs 13,300)
- 8GB RAM + 256GB storage- $164.99 (approx. Rs 13,800)
Redmi 13C comes in four colour options — Clover Green, Glacier White, Midnight Black, and Navy Blue globally.
