Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition 12GB RAM variant spotted on a Chinese online retailer

Earlier this week Xiaomi’s sub-brand launched Redmi  K30 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition in China. The key highlight of the smartphones includes Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor, quad rear camera and a pop-up selfie camera. The Zoom Edition is a top-of-the-line model of the variant and is currently available in two different configurations. Now Redmi is planning to bring a new RAM and storage option of the freshly launched device.

Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition 12GB RAM option has been spotted on the e-retailer JD.com. The Chinese retailer accidentally listed the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition on its website which has now been removed. But the web luckily took a screenshot of the listing even before it was taken down. The listing mentioned the new 12GB RAM with 512GB of internal storage option alongside the other two already launched options. Intrestintingy, the listing also did mention the pricing of the new variant that is going to be priced at CNY 4,499 that translates to Rs 47,655 as per Indian currency.

The company has officially launched K30 Pro Zoom Edition at CNY 3,799 that translates to Rs 41,000 for the 8GB with 128GB storage, 8GB with a 256GB variant has been priced at CNY 3,999 that translates to Rs 43,000. The device will be available in Moonlight White, Sky Blue, Star Ring Purple and Space Gray colour options.

Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition specifications

The Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ HDR10+ AMOLED display with 1,080 x 2,400 pixels of resolution and  1,200 nits of peak brightness. It runs on MIUI 11 based on top of Android 10 OS and is powered by a Snapdragon 865 chipset combined with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

In terms of imaging the handset comes with a circular quad rear camera set up that includes a 64-megapixel primary lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens supporting 3X optical zoom and 30X digital zoom. While on the front it houses a 20-megapixel pop-up selfie camera. The device packs a 4,700mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
