Redmi has released the Note 15 5G in India, branded the 108 MasterPixel Edition. This mid-range smartphone, which follows the Redmi Note 14 5G, has a huge 6.77-inch AMOLED display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. The smartphone runs Android 15 with HyperOS 2. The smartphone has an impressive 108-megapixel primary camera, emphasising its focus on photography. Furthermore, the handset comes with a powerful 5,520mAh battery that supports 45W quick charging, ensuring long-lasting use.
In India, the base variant of the Redmi Note 15 5G, which has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, costs Rs 19,999. There is a version with 256GB of storage that costs Rs 21,999. These prices include an Rs 3,000 bank discount that is only available for purchases made with Axis, ICICI Bank, and SBI Card transactions. Customers may also choose a package that includes two months of YouTube Premium, three months of Spotify Premium Standard, and six months of Google One access for free.
The Redmi Note 15 5G has a big 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,392 pixels. The screen is vivid and smooth, thanks to its 120 Hz refresh rate. The display becomes quite bright, with a peak brightness of 3,200 nits, so you can see it even in bright sunlight. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i makes the gadget much more durable. It features an AI face unlock function and a fingerprint sensor integrated into the screen for added security.
The phone is built to IP65 standards, which means it is protected from dust and water getting in.
The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 CPU, which provides powerful performance. Users will get 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM for effective multitasking, as well as a huge storage capacity of up to 256GB via UFS 2.2. Furthermore, the device supports MicroSD storage expansion, providing additional flexibility for customers who need more capacity for apps, videos, and files.

The Redmi Note 15 5G operates on HyperOS 2, built on Android 15. It is guaranteed to get four years of OS updates and six years of security patches. An OTA update to HyperOS 3, based on Android 16, is also planned for release soon.
The dual rear camera system comprises a 108-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. This configuration enables high-resolution photography, which captures fine details in photos. The gadget also features a 20-megapixel front-facing camera, which is ideal for selfies and video chats. The rear camera system can capture video at resolutions of up to 4K at 30 frames per second (fps), whilst the front camera is limited to Full HD recording at 1080p and 30 fps. This combination of camera capabilities improves the entire photography and video recording experience on the device.

The device features a substantial 5,520mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging, providing quick power replenishment. Additionally, it offers 18W reverse charging, enabling users to effectively charge other devices using the phone’s battery.
