Redmi Pad 2 has arrived in the Indian market today. Xiaomi’s subsidiary announced its latest Android tablet after it had launched it in its home market. The device is stuffed with a 9,000mAh battery. It comes with an 11-inch 2.5K display and a quad speaker unit with Dolby Atmos. Moreover, it features a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling. The tab runs on HyperOS 2, based on Android 15 out of the box.

Redmi Pad 2 flaunts an 11-inch 2.5K Crystal Clear Display with 1,600×2,560 pixels of resolution. The 10-bit display comes with a refresh rate of 90Hz and 500 nits of peak brightness. It has 274ppi pixel density, a 16:10 aspect ratio and offers up to 360Hz touch sampling rate. The panel comes with Triple TÜV Rheinland certifications and wet touch technology support. Under the hood, there is MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra SoC paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It runs on HyperOS 2, based on Android 15 out of the box.
For video calls and photography, the tablet features a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture and an 8-megapixel back camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The Redmi Pad 2 comes with a 9,000mAh battery with an 18W wired charging support. In terms of connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C port. Besides this, the tablet is compatible with the Redmi Smart Pen that supports a 60Hz refresh rate. That is sold separately. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, a virtual ambient light sensor, and a hall sensor. The Pad 2 also features a quad speaker system with Dolby Atmos support.

Redmi Pad 2 Price in India, Sale Details
Redmi Pad 2 will be available in India at a starting price of Rs 13,999 for the base Wi-Fi-only 4GB RAM with 128GB storage varaint. The Wi-Fi + 4G variant is available in 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage models priced at Rs 15,999 and Rs 17,999, respectively. The tablet is scheduled to go on sale from June 24 via mi.com, Amazon and select offline retailers in the country. It will come in blue and grey colour options.
