Redmi Pad Pro 5G India launch set for July 29, Redmi Pad SE 4G to be tagged along

The tablet has already debuted in China a few months ago.

Xiaomi is getting ready to launch a new tablet under its sub-brand Redmi in the Indian market. The company has officially announced the Redmi Pad Pro 5G India launch date. A dedicated event page has also been created with key specs, design and more specs being showcased ahead of the official release. Before its arrival in the Indian market, the Redmi tablet was introduced in China in May this year.

The Redmi Pad Pro 5G India launch is scheduled for July 29. The company took to X.com to make the announcement through a post. Along with Pad Pro, the company will also introduce Redmi Pad SE 4G.

As per the dedicated microsite the Redmi Pad Pro 5G 12.1-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also include Dolby Atmos-backed quad speakers and a 10,000mAh battery. The device is teased to run on HyperOS out-of-the-box and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. The tablet is confirmed to get 5G as well as stylus support. The tablet also supports up to 12 hours of video playback time.

Redmi Pad Pro 5G specs

Redmi Pad Pro 5G was launched in China in May this year. The tablet has a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD screen with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels of resolution. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has up to 600 nits peak brightness as well as Dolby Vision support. Under the hood, is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. It operates on Android 14-based Xiaomi HyperOS.

For photos and videos, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G features an 8-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and an 8-megapixel sensor on the front for selfies.

The tab boasts a 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. For connectivity, there is 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB Type-C port. The device features a quad-speaker setup with support for Dolby Atmos.
