Redmi Watch Move with 2.5D curved design launched in India

The Redmi Watch Move will be available for purchase in India in May and will work with the Mi Fitness App.

Xiaomi India has unveiled the Redmi Watch Move, the company’s first locally built smartwatch. The rectangular AMOLED display includes an operating crown that achieves 98.5 percent tracking accuracy. The smartwatch runs Xiaomi’s HyperOS user interface and supports Hindi. It includes a 300mAh battery and is compatible with the Mi Fitness App.

The watch is meant to help users with a number of daily tasks, such as tracking wellness and fitness, smart task management, and hands-free communication. Pre-orders for the Redmi Watch Move will open on April 24, and the device will retail for Rs 1,999 in India. Starting on May 1, the smart wearable will be sold on Flipkart, the Xiaomi India website, and retail locations. It will come in the following colours: Blue Blaze, Black Drift, Gold Rush, and Silver Sprint.

The Redmi Watch Move’s 1.85-inch AMOLED display provides great clarity with 600 nits brightness and a sleek 2.5D curved design, making it suitable for outdoor usage or mid-commute alerts, while the Always-On Display maintains continual visibility of time and important updates.

The Redmi Watch Move is a multipurpose gadget built for all-day wear. It has an anti-allergy, anti-bacterial TPU strap and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, making it ideal for everyday commuting, gym sessions, and unexpected weather.

The Redmi Watch Move has 140+ workout modes and 98.5% tracking accuracy. It allows users to accurately track runs, manage calories, and schedule yoga sessions. Real-time feedback encourages users to stay motivated, meet daily goals, and develop better habits over time.

The Redmi Watch Move provides enhanced health monitoring that integrates into everyday habits. It monitors heart rate, SpO₂, stress, and sleep cycles, including REM, to provide insights into day and night well-being. It also records the menstrual cycle, allowing women to better manage their overall health by making it simple, personal, and accessible.
In addition, the gadget supports Bluetooth calls, contact access, and notification management. It also supports Hindi, making the experience more inclusive and accessible to people around the country.

The smartwatch runs Xiaomi HyperOS, which syncs numerous digital life stuff such as notes, tasks, calendar events, and weather updates to provide daily notifications and keep users informed. Its rotating crown enables easy navigation with one finger.

In terms of durability, the watch has up to 14 days of battery life, even with Always-On Display activated, and up to 5 days of performance with Ultra Battery Saver Mode, allowing users to stay connected even when power is limited.
