Samsung announced extended Samsung Care+ warranty plans for home appliances in India

Samsung Care+ introduces industry-first coverage for software updates and screen malfunctions.

Samsung has expanded its Samsung Care+ service to include extended warranties for home appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, microwave ovens, and smart televisions. Notably, the improved service now provides unique coverage for software upgrades and screen issues, which improves consumer peace of mind by giving more protection and convenience.

Ghufran Alam, Vice President, Digital Appliances, Samsung India, said, “We are committed to enhancing the customer experience, elevating home appliances ownership with unique benefits such as software updates and screen malfunction coverage, while expanding availability of Samsung Care+ extended warranty plans across all channels.”

The enhanced Samsung Care+ service now includes an industry-first capability that covers software upgrades and screen defects with no damage to the device. Customers can be assured that they are covered not just for hardware issues, but also for software performance and display issues. Therefore, Samsung Care+ is regarded as the most comprehensive appliance protection offer in the industry. These plans, which range from one to four years, provide complete coverage starting at Rs 2 per day.

Furthermore, customers can use the Samsung app to log their service requests and receive timely reminders for planned maintenance, resulting in a more efficient service experience.

It gives customers access to a network of over 13,000 Samsung-certified experts and 2,500 service locations, assuring that they get authentic Samsung parts and timely service. In addition, the program offers multilingual assistance in nine languages, making it more accessible to a varied consumer base.
