Samsung Electronics has launched the One UI 8.5 beta programme, which significantly enhances productivity, privacy, and efficiency throughout the Galaxy ecosystem. Key enhancements include easy content production tools, such as an enhanced Photo Assist, which enables smooth, uninterrupted editing without the need to save changes often. Users may also see the edit history to choose their favourite images. Additionally, the Quick Share tool has been improved to accurately recognise individuals in photographs, allowing for immediate sharing to contacts. These enhancements contribute to a more efficient and connected user experience across devices.
One UI 8.5 improves device connectivity by adding new cross-device functionality for easier file management, network sharing, and communication with nearby devices. The Audio Broadcast feature offers smooth interaction with LE Audio-supported devices via Auracast, allowing users to exchange audio and broadcast their voice from a Galaxy phone’s built-in microphone, which is particularly useful for group activities such as tours. Furthermore, the Storage Share function enhances the Galaxy ecosystem by showing files from other Galaxy devices, such as tablets and PCs, in the My Files app, allowing users to view their phone’s contents from a variety of Samsung devices, including TVs.
