Through its Samsung Wallet app, Samsung is providing ticketing services in India in collaboration with Paytm. From the app, users can now book and save tickets for movies, events, buses, and flights. First-time booking discounts are also available through the app. It is limited to Samsung Galaxy phones, though. Samsung intends to introduce a referral scheme for its app, rewarding each successful referral with a Rs. 100 Amazon Gift Voucher. Additionally, the company intends to offer first-ticket booking discounts of up to Rs 1,150. Users of Samsung Galaxy smartphones will find the Samsung Wallet software convenient, although users of other smartphones can still utilise the Google Wallet app.
Samsung announced its partnership with One97 Communications Limited which owns the Paytm brand via a blog post. As per the company the collaboration “aims to enhance consumers’ convenience by offering a seamless and integrated booking experience directly through the Samsung Wallet, facilitating access to a wide range of services through Paytm.”

Thanks to this collaboration, owners of Galaxy smartphones will now have easy access to Paytm’s array of services, which include bookings for events, movies and buses as well as flights and buses, all of which are incorporated into the Samsung Wallet. Samsung Wallet users can avail of the new services by updating their app.
‘Add to Samsung Wallet’ allows users of Galaxy smartphones to easily access airports, bus terminals, movie theatres, and event venues by adding their tickets to Samsung Wallet. Discounts of up to INR 1150 will soon be available on initial reservations for all recently introduced services from Samsung India and Paytm.
Samsung Wallet is going to introduce a Referral Programme in which, following successful registration, each new user that is referred will receive a gift card from Amazon worth INR 100. The referees could profit up to INR 300 as a result of this.

Samsung Wallet is set to launch a tap & pay offer, allowing users to make payments using their preferred debit or credit card. When four tap-and-pay transactions are completed within the offer time, consumers will receive a 250 INR Amazon gift card
