Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy F36 5G in the Indian market today. The latest handset is powered by Exynos 1380 SoC and runs on Android-15 15-based One UI 7 out of the box. It packs AI features such as Circle to Search and Gemini Live. The phone comes with an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. There is a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor. The phone will be available in three colourways, and it houses a 5,000mAh battery.

The price of Samsung Galaxy F36 5G in India starts at Rs 17,499 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and Rs 18,999 for the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage option. The phone comes in Coral Red, Luxe Violet, and Onyx Black colour options featuring a leather finish.

The smartphone is scheduled to go on sale via Flipkart and Samsung.com on July 29 at noon.

The Samsung Galaxy F36 5G features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device’s screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Exynos 1380 processor with Mali-G68 MP5 GPU for handling graphics. It will be available with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The internal storage can be expanded via a microSD card. The smartphone runs on One UI 7 based on Android 15 out of the box. It comes with Circle to Search, Gemini Live, Object eraser, Image clipper, and AI Edit suggestions. As per the company, it will provide 6 years of Android updates and seven years of security fixes on the handset.

For photos and videos, the Galaxy F36 5G sports a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS and f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. A 13-megapixel front-facing camera has also been provided for taking selfies and video calling. Both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording.

The Samsung Galaxy F36 5G is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. For handling thermals, it includes a vapour chamber, and there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for phone unlock. In terms of connectivity, there is dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS + GLONASS, and a USB Type-C port for charging.
