South Korean technology giant Samsung has been in news for its upcoming Galaxy M series smartphone. Till now, we know via reports that the company will be launching the series in India and the launch will be taking place this month, although no date has been set for it yet.

Although everything that we know about Samsung’s Galaxy M series was just rumours and speculations till now, we finally have something official that points towards the launch. The support page for Samsung Galaxy M10 has gone live on the company’s official website in India. This confirms that at least Samsung Galaxy M10 is getting launched and that its global launch will be held in India. The support page was first spotted by SamMobile.

We should point out that Samsung is launching the Galaxy M series to replace its existing Galaxy J and Galaxy On series. Prior reports have also suggested that Samsung’s Galaxy M series will feature the Infinity-V and Infinity U displays and house large batteries.

According to Samsung Galaxy M10’s support page, the smartphone’s model number is SM-M105F/DS, which basically means that it is a dual-SIM device. Earlier reports have suggested that handset will be powered by an Exynos 7870 processor clubbed with 3GB of RAM and either 16GB or 32GB of storage. Samsung Galaxy M10 will reportedly sport a 6.02-inch Infinity-V notched display and run Android 8.1 Oreo. The handset is expected to house a 3,400mAh battery.

The other two smartphones that will be launched – Samsung Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30 – will pack bigger batteries that are said to be around 5000mAh in capacity. It has also been reported that they will come with better specifications and cameras.

Now that the support page has gone live on Samsung India’s website, the launch of the smartphone has been confirmed. We will keep you updated about whatever we get to know about it.
