Samsung Galaxy M16 5G and M06 5G with 50-megapixel camera launched in India

Both the phones come with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processors.

The Samsung Galaxy M16 5G and M06 5G have been announced in India. The newly launched phones come equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipsets, 5,000mAh batteries, 50-megapixel cameras, and a 6.7-inch HD+ display. Both phones include side-mounted fingerprint sensors.

The price of the Samsung Galaxy M16 5G in India starts at Rs 11,499 for the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage. There are two more variants, 8GB RAM and 8GB RAM with 128GB of storage, priced at Rs 12,999 and Rs 14,499, respectively.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy M06 5G price in India starts at Rs 9,499 for the base 4GB RAM with 128GB storage and Rs 10,999 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage option.

Samsung Galaxy M16 5G, Samsung Galaxy M06 5G specifications

The Galaxy M16 5G and M06 5G are both sleek and ergonomic handsets, with a revamped design that includes a linear grouped camera module, a vibrant colour palette, and an improved finish. The M16 5G is 7.9 mm slender and available in Blush Pink, Mint Green, and Thunder Black, whereas the M06 5G is Sage Green and Blazing Black. Both devices are intended to be visually appealing and fashionable.

The Galaxy M16 5G features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 1,080×2,340 pixels of resolution. While the Galaxy M06 5G comes with a 6.7-inch HD+ display with 720×1,600 pixels of resolution.

The Galaxy M16 5G and M06 5G are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. For the Galaxy M16 5G, the firm promises six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, while the Galaxy M06 5G will receive four generations of OS upgrades and four years of security updates.

Samsung is offering Tap & Pay with Samsung Wallet on the Galaxy M16 5G, which enables safe payments. Both devices include Samsung Knox Vault, a hardware-based security technology that defends against both hardware and software assaults. Voice Focus, which eliminates ambient noise, improves the calling experience on the Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy M06 5G.

The Galaxy M06 supports 12 5G bands from all telecom providers.

The Galaxy M16 5G has a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera, as well as a 13-megapixel front selfie camera, whereas the Galaxy M06 5G has a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies.

The Galaxy M16 5G and M06 5G have 5000 mAh batteries that allow for longer surfing, gaming, and binge viewing sessions, as well as 25W quick charging.
