Samsung Galaxy F36 5G India launch date confirmed: Details

The device will come with Advanced AI features.

After launching Galaxy M36 5G in India, Samsung is all set to now update its F-Series in the country with the launch of a new smartphone. The company has confirmed the Galaxy F36 5G India launch. The device has been listed on Flipkart and was previously spotted on the Google Play Console. The upcoming phone is confirmed to feature AI features and could run on Exynos 1380 SoC, which also powers the recently launched Galaxy M36 5G.

The Samsung Galaxy F36 5G India launch has been scheduled for this week, July 19, at noon. The smartphone has been posted on Flipkart ahead of its debut to tease availability. The forthcoming phone will have a premium leather finish, be 7.7mm thin, and come in three colours. Flipkart’s advertising portal hinted at the purple and red variants.

The ad also indicates that the phone will have a SIM tray on the left side. A glance at the phone also revealed a slimmer, vertically aligned back camera island.

According to the company, the Samsung Galaxy F36 5G will include a  50MP OIS triple camera with Nightography and advanced AI innovations. The 50MP camera sensor will get OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) support, letting you capture low-light images. The software is expected to offer features such as Edit Suggestions, Image Clipper, and Object Eraser.

Apart from that, Samsung has not revealed the exact pricing, but the  Galaxy F36 5G is confirmed to be priced under Rs 20,000.

The Galaxy F36 5G smartphone was discovered in the Google Play Console database, with a teardrop-style notch for the front selfie camera, revealing its design and important characteristics.

The Samsung Galaxy F36 is expected to be powered by the Exynos 1380 SoC, with at least 6GB of RAM and a 1,080×2,340 pixel display with 450ppi pixel density, running Android 15 with One UI 7.

Samsung Galaxy M36 5G Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy M36 5G features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 1,080×2,340 pixels of resolution. The screen supports a refresh rate of 120Hz and has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Plus protection. Under the hood, there is an Exynos 1380 processor with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The phone runs on One UI 7 based on Android 15. The company is promising to provide 6 years of software upgrades and 6 years of security fixes.

For the photos and videos, Samsung Galaxy M36 5G flaunts a vertically aligned triple camera setup on its rear. The camera system includes a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 5-megapixel macro shooter. For selfies, there is a 12-megapixel front-facing camera.

Over that, the Samsung Galaxy M36 houses a 5,000mAh battery that has 45W fast charging support
