Recently Samsung hinted at the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G and Galaxy M15 5G launch in India by teasing it on Amazon. However, it did not reveal the launch date of the upcoming phone at that time but now the time and date have been officially confirmed. The devices were launched in Brazil on March 28.
Alongside Samsung Galaxy M55 5G, Galaxy M15 5G is all set to launch in India soon. The smartphone’s debut date in India has now been revealed. The phone India launch is set for April 8 at 12 p.m. IST. Before their release, Amazon has confirmed that they will be available there for purchase.
Alongside disclosing the launch date Samsung has also disclosed the phone’s colour options and a few important specifications. While the Galaxy M15 5G is expected to be available in three colour options—Blue Topaz, Celestine Blue, and Stone Grey—the Galaxy M55 5G will only be available in Denim Black and Light Green in the nation.

Samsung Galaxy M55 5G, Galaxy M15 5G price in India expected
Details about their prices have been leaked ahead of the India launch. A tipster claims that the starting pricing in India for the Galaxy M55 5G variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage would be Rs 26,999. On the other hand, the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variants may cost Rs 29,999, while the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage option is expected to cost Rs 32,999.
The Galaxy M15 5G is rumoured to start selling at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage and Rs 14,999 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage option.
Samsung Galaxy M55 5G, Galaxy M15 5G specifications expected
The Galaxy M55 5G in India is expected to have a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Plus display. The screen is said to offer a refresh rate of 120Hz and a maximum brightness level of 1,000 nits. Moreover, It will have Vision Booster technology, which is meant to improve screen visibility even in direct sunlight.
It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. The Galaxy M55 5G will have three cameras on its back. The camera unit will include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) that will support AI-powered tools like Image Clipper and Object Eraser, along with Nightography. It is confirmed that the phone will have a 50-megapixel selfie camera.

The phone will pack a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W wired fast charging.
In contrast, the Galaxy M15 5G will have a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a water drop notch. The device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor.
The triple rear camera setup on the phone will feature a 50-megapixel primary sensor. The handset is said to be backed by a massive 6,000mAh battery.
