Just ahead of the July 10 Galaxy Unpacked Event, a report has surfaced on the web claiming that the Samsung Galaxy Ring might cost the same in France as the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. Earlier, a report claimed that it might include capabilities like temperature measurement and snore detection. The smart ring was introduced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) this year.
The Samsung Galaxy Ring is said to retail for EUR 449, or Rs 40,000, in France. This price is comparable to that of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 47mm Bluetooth model.
Nine sizes, ranging from 5 to 13, will be available, as originally planned. Last but not least, France will also have three colours—silver, gold, and black.
It is anticipated to be more reasonably priced in the US and India, though. It may cost as much as Rs. 35,000 in India and between $300 and $350 in the US.

Here’s everything we know about the Samsung Galaxy Ring
The Galaxy Ring is said to feature an ECG sensor, SpO2 sensor, and PPG sensor, potentially similar to Samsung’s BioActive sensors on its smartwatches. The wearable will offer features such as stress and heart rate measurement, period prediction, snore detection, and skin temperature measurement. It will also provide comprehensive sleep analysis, tracking movements, heart rate, respiratory rate, and sleep latency. The Samsung Health app will assign a ‘Vitality’ score to users based on workouts and sleep performance, with the possibility of comparing scores with friends and maintaining a leaderboard.
Samsung’s ring will have varying battery capacities, with smaller versions featuring 17mAh, highest-size units with 22mAh, and middle variants with 18.5mAh. The ring can last up to 9 days on a full charge and is expected to come with a TWS-like charging case.
