Samsung Galaxy S21 Series Hands-on Videos leaked again ahead of the launch

The much-awaited flagship smartphone by Samsung is all set to launch today globally. But this time the Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event will be hosted virtually. The previous rumour and leaks suggest the series will include three devices Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Just a few hours before the official launch in a new development, another hands-on video has popped on the web therefore revealing all the three smartphones. Another video has been shared on Twitter which gives us an understanding of the design as well as the specifications.

As per the leaked hands-on videos posted by a tipster on Twitter, shows the Samsung Galaxy S21+ in Phantom Violet while the Galaxy S21 Ultra in Phantom Black colour option.

In addition to this, the regular variant Galaxy S21 has also been shared on Twitter. The back panel reads “Property of Samsung”. The leaks suggest the Ultra variant will significantly be thicker than its predecessor that is 8.1mm thick. It should also be noted that the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is even thicker than iPhone 12 Pro Max which is 7.4mm thick.

Moreover earlier it was expected that all the three upcoming flagships will be donning a glass back cover but now they are rumoured to come with a plastic back panel but the hand on leak video claims the Galaxy S21, the Galaxy S21+ and the Galaxy S21 Ultra will be featuring a glass back but fells like plastic due to matte finish which means the rear of the smartphones will be smudge and scratch resistance.

Moreover, the leaked video also touts that the S21+ and S21 Ultra will boast a 4,800mAh and 5,000mAh battery respectively.

On the other hand, another video posted on Twitter by a tipster claims that this time the Ultra version will be missing a microSD card slot. It has also revealed the pricing of the smartphone to be $1,200 in the US which translates to Rs 87,700 as per Indian currency.

Popular tipster Evan Blass on his YouTube channel also gives more insights into the design and specifications of the new Samsung flagship phones. He has also posted some snapshots of the official listing of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series which are expected to go live on the company’s official announcement after the launch. According to the shared screenshots, the company will be offering Galaxy Buds Live earbuds and Galaxy SmartTag Bluetooth tracker for free on the pre-order of the smartphones.

Moreover, all the devices are said to feature Gorilla Glass Victus protected Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. In the US it will come with the latest Snapdragon 888 SoC and in other markets in India as well it will be powered by Exynos 2100 SoC.

The screenshot of the retail box of the Galaxy S21 series confirms the box to include a USB Type-C data cable, SIM ejection pin, and a Quick Start Guide. Here we would like to bring to your attention that this time Samsung might also follow the footprints of Apple to not include a charger as well as the earbuds.

It is interesting to note that similar to the Note series the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is likely to get an S Pen support along with Wi-Fi 6E connectivity. Also, all the three devices will have 25W Super Fast Charging, 15W Fast Wireless Charging and Wireless PowerShare support.
