Recently, Samsung announced the Fan Edition of Galaxy S25 in India. The device today officially went on sale for the first time in the country. The Galaxy S25 FE runs on Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box and is powered by the Exynos 2400 chip. It comes with Galaxy AI features. It packs a 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired charging support and features a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED display. Here is everything about it.

Price in India, Launch offers

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Fan Edition model is currently on sale in India. It will be available at a starting price of Rs 59,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM with 256GB storage option will come with a price tag of Rs 65,999. Whereas the 8GB RAM with 512GB storage model will set you back at Rs 77,999. The smartphone will be available in Icyblue, Jetblack, Navy, and White colourways. It can be purchased through Samsung.com, Samsung Exclusive Stores, select Samsung authorised retail stores, and other online portals.

According to the company, for a limited period offer, customers purchasing the 256GB storage variant will get the 512GB storage variant at no extra cost.

Customers can receive Rs 5000 in cashback if they use an HDFC Bank debit or credit card to make their transaction. Customers who purchase both the Galaxy Buds3 FE and the S25 FE will receive an Rs 4000 discount on the former. Customers may now buy a two-year screen protection pack for an introductory price of Rs 4199. Those wishing to acquire the FE on EMI may do so for up to 24 months at no cost.

Specifications, Features

The Galaxy S25 FE features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor. The display comes with an enhanced Armor Aluminum frame that provides improved durability and a more refined finish. There is a more than 10% larger vapor chamber for efficient thermal management.

The device packs a 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired charging support, which is said to charge the phone up to 65% in around 30 minutes.

In terms of photos and videos, there is a triple-camera module that consists of a main 50MP with a 12MP ultra-wide sensor and an 8MP telephoto sensor with an LED flash. Along with features like Low noise mode, Super HDR in video and Photo Assist, the device will also support AI features like Generative Edit, Portrait Studio, Instant Slow-mo, Audio Eraser and Auto Trim. For selfies, there will be a 12MP front camera.

The S25 FE is driven by Exynos 2400 (4nm) processor with 8 + 128GB, 8 + 256GB and 8 + 512GB of RAM and Storage options.

The company has promised to provide 7 years of software and security updates on the phone. It runs on Android 16-based One UI 8 with the latest Galaxy AI features like Gemini Live, Now Bar, Now Brief and Circle to Search with Google. Furthermore, the firm has revealed that the Fan Edition phone will also include six months of the Google AI Pro plan with higher access to features in Gemini, Flow, NotebookLM and more. In terms of security, the handset is said to include Galaxy’s Personal Data Engine (PDE) to keep user data and preferences entirely on-device and secured by Knox Vault.
