Samsung has released the second One UI 8.5 beta update for more Galaxy smartphones. This update adds nine new features to the phone. This update shows that Samsung is still working to make things better for users. Last month, the One UI 8.5 beta program was expanded to include more smartphones, including the Galaxy S25 FE and the Galaxy S23 series. The second One UI 8.5 beta version is already being sent out in select markets, giving users a chance to try out the new features and enhancements before they are officially released.
Samsung has officially said that it is adding more Galaxy devices to its One UI 8.5 beta program. This is a big improvement for users. The One UI 8.5 beta launch in March 2026 included support for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy S24 FE, and Galaxy Tab S11 series.
The Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy S23 FE, and, for the first time, the Galaxy A36 5G may now all install the beta update. This update will only be available in select markets, such as India, Korea, and the U.S.
