Samsung has confirmed that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place in July, where it may unveil its latest foldable devices, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, as part of its tradition of introducing new products. The firm has hinted at the prospect of a novel design, the Galaxy Ring, and the invitation alludes to foldable.
Samsung officially announced that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 10. Unlike previous Galaxy Unpacked events that took place in the US and Europe and Seoul, South Korea this one will take place in Paris, France. Starting at 6.30 PM IST (3 p.m. CEST, 6 a.m. PDT, 9 a.m. and EDT), the event will be streamed live on the company’s website, Samsung Newsroom and the company’s official YouTube channel.
What to expect?
Expectedly one of the busiest events ever, the event will showcase foldable tech together with the power of Galaxy AI integrated into the newest Galaxy Z series and the whole Galaxy ecosystem. Though the event’s actual date and venue are still two weeks away, there have been rumours about it for months.
In addition to the Galaxy Ring, the firm is anticipated to debut the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, and Galaxy Buds 3 at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are anticipated to provide a minor improvement over the versions of last year. Most likely, the screens of both phones will be brighter, and there won’t be as noticeable creases. They are reported to come pre-installed with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy SoC, which has a 3.9GHz maximum clock speed, and Android 14.

The upcoming device is likely to compete with the Apple Watch Ultra/Ultra 2. The wearable could come in a single Titanium Gray shade. According to our source, the pricing range for the Watch Ultra 47mm is expected to be between USD 699 and about Rs 58,400 and USD 710 which translates to Rs 59,300.
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy Watch 7 series from Samsung is rumoured to use a 3nm processor rather than the 5nm chipset found in the Galaxy Watch 6. It’s likely that they will provide 32GB of storage. The company may pit the Ultra variant against the Watch Ultra 2 from Apple, as said earlier.

It is claimed that the smartwatch glass is composed of sapphire crystal, while the case is reportedly built of Samsung’s Armour Aluminium 2. Reportedly, it maintains the 5 ATM, IP68, and MIL-STD-810H approved.
