With the launch of the Galaxy S24 series last month, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy AI features. The company revealed that some of these features will be available on the TWS earbuds. India and a few other select markets will get access to the latest OTA update of Galaxy AI features on Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Galaxy Buds2 and Galaxy Buds FE.

While rolling out the new software update the company said, “Samsung, India’s largest electronics brand, has announced the OTA (over-the-air) roll out of Galaxy AI features on Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Galaxy Buds2 and Galaxy Buds FE. Users will now be able to unlock the full potential of Galaxy AI features such as Live Translate on Galaxy Buds series through the ‘Made in India’ Galaxy S24 series.”

In order to utilise these functionalities one must have a Galaxy S24 series smartphone. It is anticipated that these functionalities will also be accessible on previous devices, like the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip5, and Galaxy Z Fold5 soon. Also, note that these functions can be accessed without an active internet connection.

When using Galaxy Buds for calling, users will be able to view real-time call translation on the Galaxy S24 series screen thanks to the Live Translate feature. In addition to this, the new AI-driven interpreter feature on the Galaxy S24 series offers smooth two-way face-to-face interpretation via the Galaxy Buds interface.

To facilitate near-natural conversation between two people holding Galaxy S24 series smartphones and Galaxy Buds, respectively, users can directly speak into the Buds mic and their translated voice will now be available via the Galaxy S24 series. Therefore, this eliminates the need to hand over the phone and manage translated talking.

Note that for these capabilities to function Samsung Galaxy S24 Series users must download the language pack.
