Samsung is constantly working on new technologies to provide its customers with a fresh experience and to stay ahead of the competition. Reportedly, Samsung Display Co. recently filed a patent application for a folding gadget with a detachable keyboard to the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA). The design sketches reveal the new form factor and its possible uses, which might improve the Galaxy Fold devices. They show the device both with and without the keyboard.
According to a report by 91Mobiles the South Korean tech giant Samsung has filed a patent with the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) for its new foldable device having a detachable keyboard. The concept sketches for the gadget, with and without the keyboard have also been shared by the report.

The filed images depict a large display unit that may be folded inward on a hinge on the lowest portion. Moreover, the device has a foldable keyboard that is affixed to the bottom. There is no clarity on how this folding behaviour would affect the screen, the gadget may become more portable and small due to its folding display and detachable keyboard.
With such a form factor the device gadget can function as a tablet for graphic creation. In addition to this, it can also be used for entertainment or as a laptop for keyboard shortcuts and writing, among other things. Increased productivity and PC-like functionality are made possible by this.
