Samsung Wallet brings the Trips feature for compatible Galaxy mobile phones

This feature will allow users to organise and manage travel-related experiences in one place.

Samsung Wallet now includes a new feature called Trips that consolidates all your trip bookings, tickets and itineraries in one place on a timeline, so you can become better organised with your travel experiences. It lacks a timeline-based itinerary like Google Wallet, which maintains trip information. The Trips function will be available to Galaxy phone customers in certain areas like the US, the UK and Korea, extending Samsung Wallet beyond traditional payments and card storage.

Samsung Electronics has announced a new feature called “Trips” in Samsung Wallet, but only for Samsung Galaxy users. This new capability will help users to better organise and manage their travel-related activities. Trips allows users to access important travel necessities and important details during their trip, delivering a smooth travel experience. Samsung Wallet brings together all eligible travel products and provides critical travel information at users’ fingertips when needed.

The trip timeline provides a unified perspective of travel-related plans, allowing organisation for hectic itineraries and enabling a smooth trip experience. It automatically combines items that are eligible by time and place, enabling customers to handle a wide variety of travel reservations, such as hotels, flight schedules, car rentals, excursions and tickets for a variety of events, all in one spot. In addition, customers may enter items into their itinerary manually and add memos for important reminders and notes, which enhances the whole trip management experience.

The app is meant to be a safe place to store and organise all your payment cards and boarding permits in one mobile location. Samsung Wallet also has a clean user interface that makes it easier to get to its functions. It also allows for an open ecosystem, working with trusted partners to further improve the user experience. This move is indicative of Samsung’s commitment to increase the usefulness and safety of its mobile apps.

Trips will be available in the Samsung Wallet starting April 2026. The function will be offered to Samsung Galaxy mobile phones in eligible locations, including Korea, the United States and the United Kingdom.
