Samsung is bringing One UI 8 to foldable devices, which includes significant UX and AI improvements.

Samsung has announced the One UI 8 Beta Program, which is a first-generation update for Galaxy smartphones. This multimodal AI agent, developed for multiple Galaxy form factors, will debut on Samsung’s foldables this summer and eventually roll out to other devices, offering a more personalised mobile experience with the most recent Android version.

Samsung is introducing One UI 8, a multimodal AI agent optimised for several Samsung Galaxy form factors. The integrated software platform, developed in collaboration with Google, will debut on Samsung’s newest foldables this summer before progressively expanding to other Galaxy handsets. With the newest Android version, the company’s collaboration seeks to streamline daily routines, increase productivity, and give a more personalised mobile experience. Early access is provided by the beta program.

According to Samsung, it engaged with Google on open communication, design processes, and real-time feedback, which resulted in One UI 8 being one of the first UI platforms to support Android 16.
