In an effort to strengthen customer relationship management (CRM) system connections, Snapchat is launching Promoted Places in Snap Map and sponsored advertisements in the Chats tab. Through partnerships with two restaurant chains and an entertainment firm, the platform will show advertisements on the app, giving them a visual way to interact with customers. By responding or using the call-to-action options, users may engage with the Snaps they receive on the site.
Sponsored Snaps with Disney and Promoted Places with McDonald’s and Taco Bell are the two new advertising placements that Snapchat is introducing with its launch partners. Through these placements, advertisers hope to reach a wider audience inside the Snapchat community, increasing customer interaction with well-known brands and broadening the way users interact with companies on the site.

Sponsored Snaps
Sponsored Snaps are visual messaging tools that businesses employ to engage customers on Snapchat, according to Snap Inc. by sending Snapchatters a full-screen vertical video Snap straight to their device. Users of Snapchat choose whether to view the Snap and can respond by messaging the advertiser directly or by clicking on the call-to-action to visit a predetermined link. According to the firm, Sponsored Snaps don’t come with a push notification and have a distinct appearance from ordinary Snaps in the inbox. Sponsored Snaps will disappear from the inbox if they are not seen.
Promoted Places
On the other hand, Snap Map’s Promoted Places assist users in finding locations they wish to visit. You may explore and browse the Snap Map to find out more about what your friends are up to, what’s going on in the area, and which places are “Top Picks” according to visitor patterns within the Snapchat community.
