Today was the formal unveiling of the Tecno Phantom Ultimate G Fold Concept. The tri-fold smartphone has a horizontal outward-facing camera module and a silver matte frame. Like the G-style folding mechanism seen in Samsung’s Galaxy G Fold, the Phantom Ultimate G Fold is likewise a concept smartphone. Dual inward folding is a feature of the tri-fold smartphone. It has a 5,000mAh battery and a triple camera system.
The Tecno Phantom Ultimate G Fold is a slim, inward-folding tri-fold smartphone with a 9.94-inch display that redefines foldable technology by becoming the industry’s thinnest gadget, measuring just 11.49mm folded and 3.49mm unfolded. According to the company, this is accomplished with innovative folding screens, hinges, and materials, such as 2000 MPa steel for the hinge and 0.3mm Titan Fibre for the rear cover.
The Phantom Ultimate G-Fold Concept is an innovative tri-fold gadget with a G-Style design that protects the primary screen from scratches and impacts. It has a custom-designed dual-hinge mechanism that consists of a small waterdrop hinge and a bigger primary hinge. The little hinge folds the display inward, similar to a classic book-style folding, while the bigger hinge folds the remaining section over the top. When closed, the gadget is safe thanks to a self-locking mechanism.
